Kilburn Coffee


Named after Queen’s Park edgier neighbour, this is an exceptional result of the hours spent messing around in the lab. Inspired by the passing of Red Bull’s Dietrich Mateschitz, it is cold brew coffee made with our No.2 Camille Red vermouth instead of water.
We recommend drinking it in espresso size measures as there is a powerful kick of caffeine. Put another way, if Red Bull gives you wings then this gives you a jet pack!
Works great as post dinner digestif or would kick start a brunch for those needing assistance. We use the Hario “Mizudashi” Cold Brew Coffee Pot but any Cold Brew device would work..


Ingredients:⁣

To make 3-4 single shots or two doubles

  • 150 ml London Vermouth Company No.2 Camille’s Red

  • 30g Freshly Ground Coffee


Method

  1. Follow the your instructions for making Cold Brew using No.2 Camille’s Red instead of water

  2. If you want a stronger coffee hit pass the vermouth through coffee for a 2nd or 3rd time.

  3. Serve chilled or a room temperature in Espresso cups or small shot glasses.
