Pink Spritz

The origin of the Spritz dates back to 19th century Venice, when the city was still part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. It is said that the Austrian soldiers diluted their wines with soda water to achieve a lighter and similar taste to the beer, which they were used to drinking at home. Spritz comes from the German ‘spritzen’ to ‘spray’.

Its most popular & current form, the Aperol Spritz also comes from Venice when it was invented in 1990s. This version was created for Mothers Day 2021 as our ‘fruity’ alternative.
